I'm dreaming of a white Christmas

Fresh snow

And we're definitely going to get it! This morning we woke to another 4+ inches of fresh powder in addition to the several inches we've received since last week. It's been a long time since we had this much snow!

if only...

I could download blog entries from my head. I'm down to the wire with Christmas sewing. See you in January. :-)

I want another baby carrier!

Going shopping

This morning as I helped the girls get ready for church, it was apparent that our five year-old is in need of new Sunday clothes. She's grown quite a bit in the last year and most of her nice clothes are getting too small. Her older sister, on the other hand, isn't growing as fast, and has nothing to pass down yet.

More than two

Today when you go out to vote, I hope you realize that there are more than two choices.

all mama-made

All wrapped up

his pants, his hat, his sweater and socks, even his diaper, all mama-made. And don't forget he spent an extra 10 days baking, so he's mama-made too!

it's a BOY!

And a big one at that! The newest Frugalbaby was born October 22, 9 lbs 6 oz 21 3/4" long. Everyone is doing well! More details to come.

Who says 2 is too young to help?

This kid just barely turned three and she is quite a good helper around the kitchen already. She can help grind cucumbers for relish, or apples for applesauce, help put dirty dishes in the sink when I wash, set the table all on her own, and sort laundry by color.
