What goes up must come down

About a year ago I was out playing with Frugaldog throwing the rope and letting her retrieve it. Well, the fun ended when I tossed the rope and it went up into the large spruce in the front yard. I couldn't see where it was stuck. I tried knocking branches with a stick, but nothing came down. It was just pain gone.

Well, yesterday Frugalgirl2 came in holding the rope! It was on the ground right in front of the tree. Frugaldog was happy to have her toy back. And I was happy to see that the old rule - What goes up, must come down continues to hold, even if the timing is somewhat unpredictable.
